Less than 1% of Africa's e-waste is formally collected and recycled (Global E-waste Monitor 2024). Every phone that dies early takes its metals, its parts and its remaining years with it.

We started Mezatech in Cairo in 2021 to keep that value in use. Today one company runs the whole loop: Meza Retail supplies devices to businesses, Fixtech repairs them, Black Mint restores them to its Minted standard, and Mezatech Recycle recovers what is left. Our plan is to make that loop normal across Egypt, then across MENA and Africa.

Building it takes technicians. It takes just as many buyers, sellers, accountants, trainers, storytellers, and the people who answer customers until 10pm. That is who we are hiring.
