Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Inventory Specialist to support inventory operations and ensure accurate stock records across our branches.

The role involves monitoring stock levels, receiving and inspecting items, conducting physical inventory counts, tracking stock movements, and maintaining accurate inventory documentation.

The ideal candidate should have good organizational and analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with different departments to ensure efficient inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining accurate inventory records across all branches.

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming items and materials.

• Conduct weekly physical inventory counts and report any discrepancies.

• Monitor stock levels and identify shortages, excess stock, or irregularities.

• Reconcile physical inventory counts with system records.

• Prepare and update inventory reports and documentation.

• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory items.

• Track inventory transfers, issued items, and returns between branches.

• Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, and Finance teams regarding inventory movements.

• Investigate stock discrepancies and support corrective actions.

• Maintain accurate inventory data on the company's inventory management system.

• Follow company procedures for inventory control and stock management.

• Support initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and minimize stock losses.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in inventory management, stock control, or a related role.

• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures and stock management.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

• Experience using inventory management systems or ERP software is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory records.

• Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to conduct physical stock counts and reconcile inventory records.

• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with different departments.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
